OSCE Workshop: Sharing Experience
On Sunday, 11 September 2022, a workshop on sharing experience in the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) took place at the Simulation Centre.
Those interested in this innovative method of testing medical and healthcare students met in one place, under the auspices of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University and the MEFANET educational network. Among the topics highlighted were issues such as the OSCE life cycle, piloting vs. real teaching, evaluation and feedback, information technology to support OSCE, and sharing OSCE stations. The introductory part, which was devoted to presenting the implementation of OSCE for the First Aid course at FM MU, taught at the Simulation Centre, was led by Martin Komenda. Subsequently, the issue of setting the OSCE examination score boundaries, technical and methodological background needed for the implementation of OSCE and the possibilities of cooperation between interested faculties from the Czech Republic and Slovakia were discussed in detail.
