Introduction to propedeutics - weekend workshop
On 23 - 24 November 2019, another all-day workshops devoted to the introduction to propedeutics took place. Originally a student initiative and leisure activity was newly included among the elective subjects of the interannual cooperation Propedeutics in Practice (in the study program General Medicine).
The interest of students was traditionally high, with 98 students from second to sixth year of study enrolling the course.
Within one day the participants got acquainted with the systematic way of examination of four organ systems and practiced selected practical skills using simulators of the Simulation Center of Masaryk University. Random examples include male urinary catheterization, venous blood collection, or nasogastric tube insertion.
