Debriefer Course
The Clinical Debriefer Course is another of the Debriefing Academy's courses. It aims to introduce participants in clinical debriefing in five regular online sessions of a few hours each. Here, participants learn how to build a complete clinical debriefing programme from scratch in their workplace, clinic, or department.
How do we identify the main threats that need to be addressed to improve the quality of care and patient safety? How to set up the programme legally and ethically? How to convince the staff and management of the benefits and need for clinical debriefing? How to prepare tools for clinical debriefing? How to collect and evaluate the data we get from it? Participants seek answers to these and many other questions with leading clinical debriefing experts led by Paul Mullan, Jennifer Arnold, and Komal Bajaj.
The course was perfectly organised. There was a rich database of video podcasts, articles, homework assignments, and home-study tools, which we then practised and used during online workshops.
