Critical Conditions in Intensive Care
The Masaryk University Simulation Centre is preparing a one-day Critical Conditions in Intensive Care course that will take place on 6 December 2021. It provides an ideal opportunity to practice and improve your skills in dealing with critical conditions that can occur at any time in intensive care.
Participants can try out extraordinary and inherently adrenaline situations in the safe conditions of the unique FM MU Simulation Centre. The course includes training in the practical management of critical conditions under the latest recommendations. There are also short focused hands-on workshops on skills helpful in dealing with critical situations (e.g. POCUS – Point-of-Care Ultrasound, BACT – Bougie-assisted Cricothyrotomy). Special attention is paid to so-called non-technical skills in Crisis Resource Management (CRM).
The target group is physicians in AIM or Intensive Care Medicine.
Course price CZK 6,000 includes course fee and refreshments.
The course is designed for 16 participants. In case of more applicants, another can take place on 7 December 2021. Registration will be possible until 22 November 2021.
The event is organised according to professional regulation No. 16 of the Czech Medical Chamber, and it is evaluated with six credits. Course time: 8:00–18:00 (attendance at the entire course is required to receive a certificate of attendance).
