Another Internal ABCD Course for Lecturers Held by SIMU
On Tuesday, 18 October 2022, another Adult Learning and Basic Course of Debriefing (ABCD course) was held under the guidance of lecturers MUDr. Tereza Vafková and MUDr. Tereza Prokopová.
The participants of the course were medical and non-medical staff from the Paediatric Clinic, the Department of Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Surgery and the Department of Paediatric Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation at the University Hospital Brno.
During the workshop, we focused on practical training. Participants tried to facilitate discussions on various topics and to conduct debriefing after the simulation both individually and in a tutor pair. The topics of the simulations were varied, focusing on both technical and non-technical skills. During the workshop, we also shared our experience with different forms of teaching students at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
