Already the fifth course Acute Conditions in Adult Intensive Care!
The fifth course Acute conditions in adult intensive care for non-medical health professionals, such as nurses and paramedics, was held at our simulation centre on 17 September 2024.
A total of 9 simulation scenarios were prepared for this course. Lecturers Bc. Petra Kratochvílová, Dis. and Mgr. Kateřina Kovaříková guided 8 participants from all over the Czech Republic through the scenarios, so each of them had the opportunity to try out the role of a leader and a team member in a safe environment of the ICU, in the emergency room and in a simulated apartment. In addition, they learned technical skills during several workshops. The commitment of each participant was great and we believe that they will be happy to spread the idea of simulation medicine further.
