Nine projects funded in this year’s GA ČR call

Nine projects from the Faculty of Medicine were successful in this year's call for proposals from the Czech Science Foundation. Of the 40 applications submitted, almost a quarter received funding, which is the faculty's best result in recent years.

Of the nine projects supported, the faculty is theprincipal investigator in seven and a co-investigator in two, together with partners from Brno University of Technology and the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. A total of CZK 70 million will be allocated to research on the topics listed below in the coming years.

Supported projects – principal investigator

Tomáš Bárta and Jaromír Gumulec will be co-investigators of the projects on behalf of the faculty, together with other institutions.

In the previous call, seven projects were supported, five as principal investigator and two as co-investigator. The faculty thus again recorded a year-on-year increase.
