Description This contribution reports on the development and experience in destination management and marketing in the tourist region of South Moravia. It characterizes the current status of destination management and marketing in Europe and its development in the Czech Republic. Further, it discusses the practical realization of destination management and marketing at particular levels of the chosen region. Finally, it describes the main problems of destination management and marketing in selected tourist regions and the respective possible solutions.
