Instructions for authors

Fulltext engrossment 

It is necessary to write your fulltext in the format given: 4 pages maximum, A4 format (graphs, tables, pictures, and literature included), Times New Roman, size 11, line spacing 1 and borders 1,5cm.

Please name each article using terms – Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement and Literature.

Transfer your completed fulltext into PDF and paste via the registration system.

Materials for a presentation

There are no special specifications for your PowerPoint presentations. The only thing you have to observe is the time, meaning 10 minutes of your speech followed by a 5-minute discussion. It is recommended to use the united visual MU style, which you can find on the web page https://sablony.muni.cz/ and to use 16:9 page ratio.

Presentation submission

In our presenting rooms, we are equipped with data projectors (16:9 page ratio) and PCs with the PowerPoint software (2007 version and newer). Therefore, if you require any other facility or application, please inform SSC coordinators in advance.

We need your presentations submitted no later than one day before the actual date of the event. There is a size limitation of 40MB. As an alternative, you can upload the presentation on the event day using a USB medium or another compact drive medium, however the former method is preferrable.
