The Project addresses a problem concerning the whole world and educational institutions in particular. Target groups are victims of bullying, adults, educators, bullies and bystanders. The main objective of the project is to reduce incidents of various bullying acts such as verbal, physical, relational and cyber bullying, which causes students loss of interest in academic achievement and leave school halfway.
The project is primarily inspired from the fact that Europe has become more cosmopolitan due to constant migration within the borders of a country or from abroad for many reasons. People sometimes get false opinion of certain people or groups from unchecked media tools, and they tend to commit hate crimes or bias/hate incidents. When prejudice-motivated adults raise children, they inevitably turn into harsh bullies who cause discomfort and injury to their peers just because they belong to different ethnicity, language, race, nationality, religion, physical appearance, gender identity or sexual orientation. Adults should see the importance of how their actions or inactions influence their children’s perspective of diversity in the society.
