GA CR calls for 2025 announced
The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) has announced calls for STANDARD Projects, EXPRO, JUNIOR STAR and POSTDOC INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP.
If you are interested in submitting a project, please contact Július Mráz by February 20, 2024.
Faculty deadline: March 27, 2024.

GA CR EXPRO and JUNIOR STAR calls
After a one-year break, the EXPRO competition is once again open for the most excellent Czech scientists. Project leaders can secure funding of up to 50 million CZK for five years for their teams.
The JUNIOR STAR competition is designed for outstanding early-career researchers (up to 8 years after obtaining a Ph.D.). The aim of the five-year projects, with a total budget of up to 25 million CZK, is to provide an opportunity for the scientific independence of the project leader, including the potential establishment of their own research group.

Research breakfast
Join us for Research breakfast
The first breakfast in the new format will take place on Tuesday, 27 February 2024, from 8-9 am in the Library of the University Campus Brno. The guests will be vice-dean Tomáš Kašpárek, head of the research group Tomáš Bárta and Aleš Hampl, head of the Department of Histology and Embryology. The former is a multiple successful applicant and investigator of GA CR grants, the latter is a member of the evaluation panel of GA CR. We will also focus on Gender in research.
