In IS MU you can now find the online Course on Science and Research Communication for PhD Students 2025.
The aim of the course is to present more comprehensively the possible forms and forms of popularisation. The course is aimed at PhD students. In addition to the lectures, practical workshops are also offered, which will allow doctoral students to try out specific activities in practice. According to their personal preferences, they will be able to choose the form of popularisation that is closest to them.
The course is held in Czech language only!

It is now possible to apply for support from the Excellence Publications Support Fund only if the applicant has no other financial resources available to cover publication costs.
This means both project resources, departmental funds or university vouchers and discounts at publishers.
When completing the application in the Document Office, this must be declared.

Erasmus+ is an exchange programme of the European Union which makes it possible for Masaryk University students to study or carry out a traineeship at a wide range of European universities and institutions.
One of the novelties introduced in the new Erasmus+ programme is the possibility of realising short-term doctoral mobilities as a traineeship placement.
Study placements can take place only in countries included in the Erasmus+ programme.
Call for applicants is open until the end of May!

Barrande mobility is the Czech-French Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC). It is implemented in France by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR), and in the Czech Republic by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT).
The objective of the programme is to encourage the development of scientific exchanges between laboratories of the two countries, by promoting new cooperation and the participation of young researchers and doctoral students.
The call is open to all scientific fields and the projects submitted must fall within the field of fundamental research.
Czech teams should apply to the MŠMT.
The projects are then evaluated by a Czech-French commission.
Application deadline: May 29th, 2025.
