Long-term investment product
Masaryk University has expanded its benefits offer as of 1 July 2024. Employees can now choose between a contribution to supplementary pension insurance, a contribution to a kindergarten/playgroup fee, and a contribution to a long-term investment product. An amendment to the Collective Agreement supports the change:

Employees can view their employment details in the Employment Relationships application.
The "To" field shows the date until which the employment relationship is closed. If no date is given here, the employment relationship is for an indefinite period. In the figure, the relevant field is marked in red.
The data in the field "From-To" provides information only on the time setting of each resource, not the duration of the employment contract.

Changes in the leadership of academic departments
As of 1 September, the new Head of the Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine and the St. Anne's Hospital in Brno will be prof. MUDr. Ivan Čundrle, Ph.D. The current Head, prof. MUDr. Vladimír Šrámek, Ph.D., will remain an employee of the Faculty of Medicine.
As of 1 August, prof. RNDr. Michal Masařík, Ph.D. will be the new Head of the International Clinical Research Centre of the Faculty of Medicine and the St. Anne's Hospital in Brno.
On 1 July, the new research group was established under the CREATIC Centre of Excellence, VS Lenka Zdražilová Dubská: CAR T-Cell Innovations.

Personnel changes at the Dean's Office
The project department has been strengthened by the financial manager, Ing. Bc. Hana Krejčová and the project manager, Mgr. Lenka Divišová. The project coordinator, Mgr. Július Mráz and the financial manager, Ing. Marie Kaššová have left the faculty.
Mgr. Michael Vlček has taken up the faculty's strategic and institutional cooperation manager position.
We said goodbye to Nikola Böhmová from the Economic Office, Lucie Králíková from the Office for Specialization Training of Doctors and Non-Medical Health Professions and Iva Skřivánková from the Technical and Operational Office.
We warmly welcome our new colleagues, look forward to cooperating with them and wish them much success in their work. We wish our departing colleagues success in their new positions.

E-course on Social Safety
Starting from July 1, all employees can voluntarily participate in the new e-course on Social Safety in the academic environment.
In this course, you will learn what social safety is, how inappropriate behaviour can disrupt it, how to recognize such behaviour, how to intervene, and whom to contact if you need a helping hand.
This course aligns with the mission of Masaryk University, which includes contributing to a free, cohesive, and safe society. This mission can only be fulfilled thanks to the members of the university community. By participating in the academic environment, they embrace the values of respect, freedom, and responsibility, which are also reflected in the Masaryk University Code of Ethics.
